Lutheran Hospital - Radiology - RN
Primary role includes assessment, planning and caring for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will also educate our patients about expectations during and after procedures, counsel patients regarding any concerns with the procedure, as well as educate the patient and families about procedures.
Duties may include:
Prepare patient prior to testing and procedures
Initiate intravenous access lines
Monitor vital signs during diagnostic testing and invasive procedures
Administer analgesia and sedation as ordered
Reassess patients after procedure
Assist with care and monitoring of critical patients in department
Lutheran Hospital is a 396-bed tertiary care facility. The area of specialized care include northern Indiana's only heart and kidney transplant programs, an accredited bariatric surgery center, Level II verified adult and pediatric trauma centers, an accredited and commended community hospital cancer care program and a certified primary stroke center.

Requirements
IN RN license required. BLS, ACLS, PALS within 90 days to 6 months from hire
Hiring experienced RN’s with 1-2 yrs critical care (ICU or ED experience)
Pre/Post Op experience is a plus
